What Can I Expect?
How long is a Home Church Worship Gathering?
Our Worship Gathering is about 90 minutes in length.
What happens during the Worship Gathering?
Worship Gathering usually begins with scripture reading and prayer, then leading into singing praise songs together - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. We then have a time of teaching for kids or a time of open mic for sharing stories of God's grace (rotates). Then, one of our pastors will come out to welcome everyone, share the vision of the church, and share announcements. A pastor will then preach an expositional, gospel-centered sermon from the Scriptures. After the sermon, we have a time of Communion. After the Worship Gathering, it is common for people to hang around and chat for a while (if you want!).
Who is welcome?
All are welcome! Looking for a church? Come. Not a Christian but curious about Jesus? Come. Tired, burnt out and weary? Come.
We are a community of people from different backgrounds and cultures, who are young, old, wealthy, not-so-wealthy, short, and tall.
What's the culture like at Home Church?
Sundays at Home Church are warm, casual, multicultural, multi-generational and, most of all, loving. We have a family environment as if you are coming home. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as family.
