1. Don't Build in Vain | Psalm 127
This past Sunday, Pastor Jinwoo preached from Psalm 127. We were reminded that a life of lasting significance is not built on our own strength, wisdom, or striving, but on a wholehearted dependence upon the Lord. Whether in our work, our families, our ministry, or our daily responsibilities, anything built apart from God is ultimately empty, while what is built in faithful dependence on Him is never in vain. Because God has loved us and given us His Son, we are free to labor diligently while resting confidently in His care rather than living with anxious toil. As you go through this week, ask the Lord to reveal where you may be relying on yourself, and find fresh peace and purpose by building your life upon Christ and His kingdom. 2. Wholly Connected
This year's vision of Wholly Connected is summed in the tagline: God grows us into Christ as we stay connected to Him and to one another. Here are ways for you to live this out and experience God's grace in growing you into Christ this week.
3. Weekly Connect Steps (NEW!)
We believe God grows us into Christ as we stay connected to Him and to one another. To build upon our rhythms and strengthen our connectedness even more, every week, we'll share one Connect Step to invite us to take one simple step forward in becoming Wholly Connected. As each of us takes one small step, we believe God will use all of us together to help the church family grow in intentionality to mature in Christ. Each month will have a theme, goal, weekly connect steps, and a memory verse to encourage and challenge us to be proactive participants and contributors to what God is doing in our church.
August Theme: Notice One Another | "Connection begins by seeing people"
Goal: Moving from familiarity to intentionality
Memory Verse: Everyone should look not to his own interests, but rather to the interests of others. Philippians 2:4
This coming Sunday, we will introduce the first Connect Step. Would you take a Connect Step with us? Let's go!
4. Rhythms | Upcoming Schedule
5. Worship Through Giving
God has blessed us beyond measure. Let us be faithful, generous and cheerful in our giving of finances to see Home Church faithfully and effectively pursue its vision to make Jesus known by making disciples and planting churches. CLICK HERE to give a one-time gift or setup monthly giving.
Bible Reading Plan for This Week

Building and Bathroom Policy: A friendly reminder that children must be accompanied by their parents if they are using the restrooms in the building. Please remember that the weight room is only open to current residents at the Ranch. Also, we are a nut free church, due to multiple children with severe nut allergies. Please bring only nut free snacks. If there are any other severe allergies, please let us know.
